Matthew Ticknor

Matt has been involved in all aspects of the institutional real estate industry for over two decades. During his previous role as Managing Partner of Junction Properties, he received entitlements on 400 units and built 175 apartments valued at $100m. He oversaw all aspects of the projects from entitlements, design and engineering, through construction and asset management. Matt's institutional real estate career started with Real Estate Capital Partners, a New York private equity firm, where he financed apartment developments and structured joint ventures with the country’s leading multifamily developers and asset managed the west coast portfolio. Following that, Matt joined Greystar where he managed multifamily development projects and served in a capital markets role.

Matt holds a B.A. in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University, and an M.S in Real Estate Finance from New York University. Matt and his wife Brandi live in San Francisco with their children Indy and Eden.
